Zurich hit with record fine for loss of customer data
Zurich Insurance has been issued with a record breaking £2.28m fine by the FSA after losing details on 46,000 customers, which included addresses, telephone numbers and other personal information.The fine was issued to the UK branch of the insurance company and was the highest the FSA have ever imposed on a business for data security failings.
